Below is a check list of information you need in order to make a an educated decision on whether or not a niche will profitable FROM THE START.

If you do not have all this information, you may be working in the dark and wasting a lot of time.

• The monthly search volume for each keyword
• The Google exact match results for that keyword (as if you typed it in with      quotes)
• The Google Trend results for the main keyword (check traffic ups and downs)
• The top 10 results in Google for unlicensed commercial content (product ideas)
• The top 10 results in Google for unlicensed non-commercial content (article/blog content ideas)
• The top 10 results in ClickBank products for this keyword/niche (by gravity)
• The top ten results in Google for “Affiliate Programs”
• The Amazon products best suited for that group of keywords
• The Google products best suited for that group of keywords
• The EZINE.COM results in Google for this group of keywords (To see how much competition you have there)
• The number of and a link to Adwords Ads live at the moment (determine whether you can get to the front page with 5 CENT clicks)
• Google’s suggested keyword search list for this group of keywords

This amount of research done manually will take a full day to complete. When you get this easy to read report through the tool that I use, you have a real world overview of what this niche holds in store for you and where to go to avoid the competition and get your web property to the front page of Google.

After that, it’s up to you to simply get the work done.
